Filmmakers of Tomorrow Showcase

Presented by SESLOC Federal Credit Union & Exchange Club of San Luis Obispo

Green screen picThe Filmmaker of Tomorrow Showcase is now in its
8th year and continues to draw creative short films from youth filmmakers all over the world. What began as a way to highlight local youth films has now grown into a global competition for young, aspiring filmmakers, from elementary through high school.

This year’s Showcase presents the finest films submitted from every age level, and includes two films created in the SLOIFF Summer Filmmaking Workshops in 2013. Twenty-six finalists are vying for cash prizes in several categories, which will be presented by sponsors at the end of the screening. This competition was juried by the program coordinators, Denise Dudley and Cassie Brown, who will MC the event.

Sunday, March 9, 9:30am – Downtown Cinemas, San Luis Obispo
Tickets available an hour before the screening and are free to all students,
$5 for everyone else. All festival passes welcome.
