PRESS POLICY: Only professional media organizations and credentialed photographers will be granted Press Passes to our Festival Events and/or interviews with visiting filmmakers and artists. If interested in requesting interview approval for a visiting filmmaker or artist or for requesting Press Pass approval, please click on 2012 press credential form. Once you have submitted the application, you will be contacted by our Press Relations coordinator, who will give you the details on how to pick up a press pass, if it is approved.

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY: No flash photography will be allowed in the theatres before, during, and after film screenings. There will be a photo opportunity for flash photography, however, whenever an artist or filmmaker receives an award. Flash photographs may be taken outside the theatres at any time — also, photos without flash can be taken at any time.

DESIGNATED PRESS AREAS: There will be designated press areas for professional filming and other photography in the back of the Fremont Theatre, and there will be a designated area for press seating on stage right inside the theatre. If interested in filming the event, we ask that you bring stationary cameras only; we ask that you do not roam up and down the aisles of the theatre. For stationary filming purposes, we recommend you arrive at the theatre at least one hour before the event.

Without previous Press Pass approval from our Board of Directors and our Festival Director, you will not be granted Press Pass privileges. Thank you for honoring our press and photography policies.
