Learn how to make short films from a pro!

It’s not too late to register for youth and adult filmmaking workshops beginning soon! From July 9 to August 3, the SLOIFF is offering a variety of short film and animation workshops for budding filmmakers aged 7-10, 11-14 and 16+, all taught by professional filmmakers. Learn how “real” films are made while becoming part of a film crew, and try out roles like cinematographer, director, sound person, prop master, screenwriter and more.

All workshops take place in our temporary “sound stage”, generously donated by Clever Ducks, at 1301 Broad St. (corner of Pismo and Broad) in San Luis Obispo. Workshops cost $175-$350 and a few half-tuition scholarships are still available. Call (805) 546-3456 or email sloiff1@yahoo.com for more information or go to Workshops to register.
