SLO Film Festival Winning Films at the Palm Theatre this weekend!

The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival (SLOIFF) is giving audiences one more chance to see the films that won major awards at the recent Festival, which just ended on March 10th. The Palm Theatre will host screenings this Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 in the following schedule:

George Sidney Special Jury Award, Student Film: GREEN ACRES (6 min)
George Sidney Best Narrative Feature & Audience Award Best Feature: THE STORY OF LUKE (95 min)

Saturday, March 23 – 1:30pm
Audience Award Best Short Film: BORN YESTERDAY (14 min)
George Sidney Best Narrative Feature: MISSED CONNECTIONS (77 min)

Saturday, March 23 – 1:30pm
George Sidney Best Student Film: FIRST IN FLIGHT (28 min)
George Sidney Special Jury Award/Best Sports Documentary: RISING FROM ASHES (82 min)

Sunday, March 24 – 1:30pm
Audience Award Best Documentary Feature: SOMM (90 min)

Tickets will be available at the door 30 min. before each screening and cost $10 general, $8 for students and SLOIFF Film Society members (donors and sponsors of the 2013 SLOIFF.) All net proceeds will benefit the 2013 SLOIFF.
