Our Valentine’s Day gift to you is the official announcement of our exciting 20th Anniversary Festival lineup of films! We worked hard to put together a program of high-quality, entertaining movies in a wide variety of genres, lengths and languages…and many are films you’re not likely to see anywhere else.
So enjoy a “scroll” through the Film pages of our website which are organized by category, and have descriptions, photos, trailers and in many cases, websites to reference. More information will be added in the coming weeks too. Dozens of filmmakers will be in attendance at the festival, and really look forward to sharing their films with our audiences. Many are traveling a long way to get here, and we are confident that they will appreciate the SLO County charm our community is famous for!
A full schedule with links to film descriptions will be posted very soon, and there is a downloadable PDF version of it you can look at or print so you can start planning now. Movies will be screening all over the county, and almost every film will screen twice, so it takes some planning to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. Festival passes are the best way to “fest” too…you’ll save a lot of money and get priority seating. For information on passes and special event tickets, click here!
Our last SLO County on the Silver Screen event is happening tomorrow night at the Park Cinemas in Paso Robles. RUBY GENTRY, a wonderful drama starring Jennifer Jones, Charlton Heston and Karl Malden was partially filmed in Paso Robles in 1952. It screens at 7pm on Saturday, Feb. 15th…hope to see you there!
