Join the SLOIFF for some Blues Baseball…on Canada Day!

Canadian-Baseball-Batter-Canada-Flag-Retro_artWhat does the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival have in common with baseball and Canada? Quite a lot on July 1st, as it turns out!

The SLOIFF is the Blues Baseball “Charity Partner” for the game on Tuesday, July 1st 6:00pm and they have generously given us 100 free tickets to help fill the stands with SLOIFF/baseball fans. And July 1st just happens to be Canada’s birthday – a good excuse to celebrate our country’s shared love of baseball, beer and hot dogs…not necessarily in that order!

SLO Blues LogoSLOIFF volunteers have first dibs on free tickets to the game, and although quite a few have are already spoken for, we still have 30 or 40 available. If you’d like to join us, please email: Nancy at slofilmfest.org. And don’t forget to wear RED & WHITE to the BLUES game! It’s Canada Day, eh?
