What a fantastic Opening Night!
The evening began with a reception, where pass holders, filmmakers and sponsors mingled while eating and drinking the refreshments provided by our event sponsors Luna Red, Bianchi Winery, Center of Effort, and Saint Archer Brewery.
The celebration then moved down the street to the Fremont Theatre for the screening of the new coming-of-age film The Road Within. Engaged audiences stayed after for an extensive Q&A session with director Gren Wells, actors Robert Sheehan and Ali Hillis, and producers Brent Emery and Bradley Gallo.
For those who missed it, The Road Within will have a second screening on Friday at 1pm at the Downtown Cinemas.
Tonight, support local film as Central Coast films are being showcased all over the county. Each year films written, directed, and/or produced by residents of three Central Coast counties are chosen to screen as part of the festival.
