SLOIFF 2015…thanks for the memories!

SLOIFF2015_KingVidor_06The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival Board and Staff want to express our gratitude to all our volunteers, sponsors, filmmakers, special guests, journalists and attendees for another exciting and successful Festival! Numbers are still being “crunched” but it’s looking like this could be our most successful year yet, both financially and critically.

Had to share this…but it’s not to say that we had any audience members like this. Just the opposite in fact!

And we couldn’t have done it without YOU!

If a picture tells a thousand words, then hundreds of pictures speak volumes about the fun that was had at the Festival. Please visit our Facebook page where all the photos are now posted in a number of different albums. Major thanks to our incredible Festival Photographers, Alan Fraser and Johannes Beals. They were seemingly everywhere, and they captured the spirit of the week so beautifully in their pictures. If you were at the Festival and are not in any of these photos, you did a great job of hiding from the camera. If you do see yourself, please tag your photo and share it with your friends and followers.

Thanks also to the three young video teams who also captured the festival activities. Kyle and Carlos Plummer are busy editing and we look forward to seeing and sharing their compilation video when it’s ready. YMCA Youth Institute filmmakers, led by Dan Hartzell, filmed two of our biggest events and the first of those videos is now available on Youtube – the BIG WEDNESDAY cast reunion and intro to the movie on Surf Nite. Stay tuned for more videos coming soon, and thanks to all of these talented youth filmmakers for their great work!
