“LIVES WELL LIVED” and “SOMM: Into the Bottle” tickets are on sale now!

We’re rolling out the red carpet with the first two movie events to go on sale! This is just the first of many announcements coming your way in the next two months about special film events that will be happening in San Luis Obispo County from March 15-20.

San Luis Obispo photographer-turned-filmmaker, Sky Bergman, and her expert team are putting the finishing touches on her new documentary, LIVES WELL LIVED. What is the definition of a Life Well Lived? They asked forty people aged 75-100 with a collective life experience of 3000 years to share their secrets, wit, and wisdom. Forty voices, one shared history of lives well lived. And many of them local Central Coast residents!

The Lives Well Lived project captures the images, ideas and ideals of those who are proving that aging is something to cherish, not dread. That retirement doesn’t mean you retire from life. And that growing older doesn’t mean growing silent. Tickets to the Sneak Preview screening on Wednesday, March 16 at the Fremont Theatre (7:00pm) are on sale now. Sponsored by The Villages of San Luis Obispo! Click here for tickets.

Somm Into the Bottle 2Also just announced! Tickets are on sale for the sequel to SOMM, screened at the SLO Film Fest in 2014. SOMM: INTO THE BOTTLE, takes us on a tour through France, Italy and Spain to uncover the history, politics, pleasure, and BS of wine told through the opening of ten very different bottles.
It’s a trip you’ll want to take, and all you have to do is get yourself to the Park Cinemas in Paso Robles on Friday, March 18. The Paso Wine Alliance/Vintage Paso: Zinfandel is sponsoring the event, which includes their Zinposium at the Park Ballroom, hosted by Master Somm Fred Dame, and an After-party with lots of California Zins and delectable desserts. Director/Writer/Producers Jason and Christina Wise will be in attendance, along with Master Sommelier’s Fred Dame and Brian McLintic who are featured in the film.
Tickets for the Zinposium and After-party are available by clicking here. And tickets for the movie only are available by clicking here. Mogul passes will be accepted at the Park Cinemas (but be sure you get there by 6:45pm) – this will be a sold-out event!
