A father. A church. A movement. In 2013, Rev. Frank Schaefer is put on trial in the United Methodist Church for officiating his son’s same-sex wedding. The Schaefer family is consequently drawn into a movement for LGBTQ equality in the nation’s second largest Protestant denomination. “Emotionally powerful and ultimately uplifting…it’s compelling from beginning to end.” David Lewis, San Francisco Chronicle. Audience Award winner – Mill Valley Film Festival 2015. Website/Trailer: Anactoflovefilm.com
