VIP Festival Package, MGM treasures and more….!

We are starting to unveil the details of the live auction packages that will be offered at our upcoming Short & Sweet event on Saturday, November 19th.

The “Roaring 20’s” will be alive and well in the Venetian Room of the iconic Madonna Inn when the Malibu Coast Silent Film Orchestra, led by Maria Newman, fills the room with melodies written specially for three silent short films starring Mary Pickford.

Before each film, Hollywood Film Historian Hugh Munro Neely will share interesting tid bits about Pickford’s impressive career and the making of the films, while you dine on a delicious three-course meal, accompanied by quality Central Coast wines. A no-host bar will also be available throughout the evening.

madonnaYou’ll also have the opportunity to bid on several live auction packages like the SLO Film Fest Package that includes two Mogul Passes with Festival Tent access, a night at the Madonna Inn, dinner at Café Roma and a Festival Swag Bag with wine and other locally crafted goodies.

Silent era period costumes are encouraged, but not required. Tables of 10 are available for a discounted group price, so get some friends together and make this a unique night out, at the world famous Madonna Inn! Tickets are $95 per person, $85 for students/SLO Film Society and $800 for a table of 10.
