“Short & Sweet” ticket sales / online bidding ending soon!!

Today is the last day to order tickets for our SHORT & SWEET event, featuring the Malibu Coast Silent Film Orchestra playing original scores with three silent short films.

These charming early films starring  1181263194-hugh-munro-neelyMary Pickford will be introduced by documentary filmmaker, historian and film archivist Hugh Munro Neely. He is Director of the Institute for Film Education and owner of Timeline Films LLC. He has written and lectured extensively on film history, particularly on the films of Mary Pickford. For Timeline he has produced or directed nearly a dozen documentary films on pioneers of Hollywood cinema and served as Supervising Producer on two documentaries by Salome Arkatov. As an archivist he has spearheaded projects to locate missing films, and he was instrumental in the preservation of three silent feature films from the 1920s that had previously been thought lost.
