A “Short & Sweet” time was had by all!

Thank you to all who attended and supported our third and final fundraising event of 2016!

The Malibu Coast Silent Film Orchestra graced us with their beautiful musical accompaniment to three short silent films. Hugh Munro Neeley shared some fascinating facts about the movies. The Madonna Inn served up their signature delectable meals complete with that famous pink cake! Incredible wines from Tolosa Winery, True Myth and Chappellet were flowing freely! The costumes were the bees knees! And to top things off, 16 year old Nick Houchin entertained us all with a song, as he auctioned off movie related items.

Thanks to those of you who have helped raise money for the coming Festival. We’re still looking for movie and event sponsors, and we’re going to have some really amazing films and events that could be yours! If you’re interested in finding out how you can get involved as a sponsor, please contact chris@slofilmfest.org.

Have a fun, safe and Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy some great new movies opening this weekend at our local theatres…and stay tuned for announcements coming soon about SLO Film Fest 2017!

See you at the movies!
