The SLO Film Fest is just a little more than a month away, and we’re very excited to begin sharing some news about Festival events happening March 13 to the 18th – when San Luis Obispo County goes “Hollywood”!
Internationally renowned SURF NITE IN SLO is back…on Friday, March 16 at the historic Fremont Theatre!
For the past five years award-winning Australian cinematographer, Tim Bonython, has followed some of today’s most courageous big wave surfers all over the world, filming them surfing the biggest, baddest waves on the planet for this year’s Surf Nite film, THE BIG WAVE PROJECT. Yet to be seen in a theatre in North America, this is one of those surf films you simply need to see on a big screen and the Fremont Theatre is just the place! For the wine and movie lover, we are excited to partner with Tolosa Winery and their new Spanish “sister winery,” Perinet, when we help unveil their new wines, with a new documentary and a festive Spanish-themed party at one of San Luis Obispo’s most beautiful wineries. More news coming soon as we confirm more films and special guests! Please share this news with your friends and suggest they sign on for blog updates on our home page.
See you at the movies!
