Thanks to the loyal support of The San Luis Obispo Collection, we are delighted to announce the location of our 2019 Headquarters….AND Festival Lounge. Together in one place this year, we’ll be open for business soon at 1040 Court Street. Located under the stairs that lead up to Pottery Barn and Sephora, and directly across from Peet’s Coffee, this is a fabulous space that will function as our HQ before the festival, and then both the HQ and Festival Hospitality Lounge throughout the 6-day festival.
We are thrilled to have a brand new sponsor participating this year as our Festival Lounge sponsor – Driscoll’s! We appreciate their support and look forward to seeing some of their “finest berries” starring in some of the desserts and drinks that will be served in our Lounge, along with epic Central Coast wines, beers, ciders and more.
Thank you to the loyal support of the wonderful Taste Catering and Eatery, serving up some of the most delicious and healthy food on the Central Coast. They will be providing daily delicacies and their friendly staff will be on hand to greet you in the Festival Lounge.
Big thanks as well to Blackhorse Espresso and Bakery for supplying their high quality java and muffins on the weekend mornings, during our Behind-the-Scenes panels.
Filmgoers with Mogul and Festival Sponsor passes will have Lounge access each day and night, along with visiting Filmmakers, Media and Special Guests. Movie Star pass holders will also have access on the weekdays before 5pm.
Headquarters hours will be announced soon, and we’ll send an email to all pass holders to remind you to come in and pick up your pass on a lanyard before the festival begins. Passes are still available in a variety of “sizes” so consider getting one if you haven’t yet. They give you priority access at all venues which is a big advantage at a popular screening. The pass does not guarantee entry, but you will get priority over individual ticket holders up to 15 before each screening. Click here to find out more about our passes.
We are finalizing film sponsorships right now and are still looking for a few more businesses and/or individuals who’d like to participate as a Festival Sponsor.
You can sponsor a film, or a special event, and receive a nice package of recognition and passes/tickets for the Festival. Donation levels vary from $750 and up, and includes access to our Festival Lounge.
And new this year… if you just want to help support us and get advertising in return, you can have an entire page of our glossy 25th Anniversary edition of the Official Program Guide ($1,000 donation). We’ll even create the ad for you if you want! If you are not already a sponsor and would like to discuss all the options to get involved in this exciting event, please contact Chris Aho (email@example.com) or call 805-235-6295.
Meanwhile, we are working hard on a myriad of details as this 25th Anniversary Festival shapes up to be a very special one. Stay tuned for more announcements coming soon about Red Carpet events like Surf Nite in SLO, our annual King Vidor Award and more special events. The 2019 festival program will be posted online and in print on Friday, February 15th!
See you at the movies!
