The Weird and Wonderful World of Industrial Musicals Comes to SLO!

SFF_Bathtubs-Fall-Fundraiser_Ticket-Header_1000x550_20191007 We’re incredibly excited for our upcoming event on November 8th at the brand new Hotel San Luis Obispo. This will be your first chance to experience the newest hotel addition to  San Luis Obispo while also enjoying the weird and wonderful world of industrial musicals featuring motivational show tunes about selling tractors, bathtubs, and dog food that the public was never meant to see!

The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival will host an unusual one-two punch of comedy and music on Friday, November 8th, as Steve Young, former David Letterman writer and star of the acclaimed documentary Bathtubs Over Broadway, screens the film at the Palm Theater and participates in a Q & A session before moving next door to Hotel San Luis Obispo to present a selection of vintage industrial musicals on film that can be seen nowhere else.

livethestream 2019 SLO Film Festival favorite, Live The Stream: The Story of Joe Humphreys is now available for pre-order on iTunes. Live The Stream is the inspiring life story of Pennsylvania’s fly fishing legend, Joe Humphreys, a man who was born to fly fish, lives to teach, and strives to pass on a respect for our local waters. This is a visually stunning film that captures Joe’s contagious spirit and seemingly, at 86-years-young, trout streams are his fountains of youth.  Click here to pre-order
