We hope you had a great and safe holiday season and are having a wonderful start to the New Year! When I started at this organization I had no idea we’d have to go through so many changes, pivots and iterations, but it’s been quite an adventure!
We’re starting off this year with another pivot moment. Due to safety concerns regarding the winter spread of the Omicron Variant and our dates falling so closely to cold and flu season, we have made the difficult decision to push the festival back to April. We want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly and your safety continues to be of the utmost importance to us.
We are hopeful that this change will open the doors to warmer weather for outdoor events, provide more confidence to safely attend, and get us past the heightened levels of the spread of this variant.
Our new dates are APRIL 26 – MAY 1 where we will be hosting a virtual experience as well as returning to our favorite venues around the Central Coast IN-PERSON! We will be following state guidelines and though subject to change, will be checking for proof of vaccination and/or a negative test to ensure the festival is safe for everyone involved. We apologize for any inconvince tis causes but we believe this is the best
We look forward to coming back together this April to celebrate the power of movies and filmmaking on the Central Coast and hope you will join us virtually and in-person at the 2022 festival!
