Years after leaving her Palestinian village to pursue an acting career in France, Hiam Abbass returns home with her daughter. In this intimate documentary, BYE BYE TIBERIAS shares a stunning portrait of four generations of women, the inherited trauma they carry and the bonds of love, shared history and memories that connect us to those who came before.

To conclude the weekend screenings, SLO Pal Fest is hosting a community conversation and lunch on Sunday, April 28 from 1:00-2:30pm at the SLO Public Library Community Room, to which anyone who attended a screening of Bye Bye Tiberias is welcome. Please note space is limited!
