PERSONAL GOLD: AN UNDERDOG STORY tells the story of four women who changed the face of American cycling at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. After the men’s team was banned following the Lance Armstrong drug scandal, the underfunded women’s track cycling team looked for support from a volunteer team that included male cyclist, Sky Christopherson. With Sky’s guidance, the teammates prepare for the competition using tracking devices and video analysis of their training with a new technique called “Quantified Self.” Clinging to their motto – “data not doping” – the team had not won a medal in 20 years. Take an adrenaline-pumping ride with the heroes of PERSONAL GOLD!
