Presented by The Pinheads: Charley, Marley and Harley

The 25th Annual SLO Film Fest will end with an awards celebration for Central Coast Filmmakers, Youth Filmmakers of Tomorrow and the coveted Audience Awards, to be presented by Festival sponsors.

Then San Luis Obispo native, Hannah Marks, will sit down with Variety’s Jenelle Riley for a conversation about her successful career in Hollywood, before a screening of AFTER EVERYTHING, directed by Marks and Joey Power.

25-year-old Hannah Marks grew up in San Luis Obispo and performed in community theatre before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a professional acting career. That led to many roles in movies and TV beginning when she was 12, and ten years later she directed three short films. AFTER EVERYTHING is her feature film debut and premiered to rave reviews last year at SXSW. Last year she was named one of the Rolling Stone’s 25 under 25 Artists Changing the World.

AFTER EVERYTHING stars Maika Monroe, Jeremy Allan White, Marisa Tomei and Gina Gershon. When Elliot (Jeremy Allen White), a brash 23-year-old living carefree in New York City, meets the sensible Mia (Maika Monroe) and receives a damning diagnosis all in the same week, his world is turned completely upside down. But as their love blossoms amidst the chaos of his treatment, they discover that Elliot’s illness is not the real test of their relationship – it’s everything else. Romantic Comedy/Drama. 95 min.
