Indies & Eats – LIVING

A fresh take on the screenplay by Kazuo Ishiguro, adapted from the 1952 Japanese film Ikiru directed by Akira Kurosawa. LIVING is the story of an ordinary man (Bill Nighy), reduced to a shadow existence by years of an oppressive office routine. In the eleventh hour he makes a supreme effort to turn his dull life into something wonderful.

Ox + Anchor, in partnership with the SLO Film Fest, invites you to enjoy the perfect pairing – dinner and a movie! For the month of January, catch a celebrated independent film playing at the historic Palm Theatre, and then head next door to treat yourself to a special $78 three-course prix fixe dinner by Chef Ryan Fancher before or after the film!
