SKATEBOARD (1978)

As a part of our skate day, join us for a retrospective screening of 1978 film SKATEBOARD, following a Hollywood agent that finds himself in debt to a powerful bookie. Backed into a corner, he creates a team of exceptionally talented skateboarders and enters them in a downhill race in order to make a quick buck. In what many refer to as the “Bad News Bears” of skateboarding, its star studded cast includes Allen Garfield, 70’s teen idol Leif Garrett, skateboarding legend Tony Alva, and iconic Skateboarding Hall of Famer Ellen O’Neal.

Stick around after the film for a Q&A with Director George Gage, Stylist Beth Gage and star of the film Richard Van Der Wyk!
