In light of current state and county guidelines, we will not check for proof of vaccination or negative test(except at the Cuesta Performing Arts Center), but we do strongly suggest wearing masks when indoors and when not eating or drinking. Masks have been proven to greatly reduce the spread of the new COVID variants. If you aren’t feeling well or were exposed to COVID-19, we kindly ask that you stay home. We are offering a virtual festival, which is a great option if you’re not yet comfortable attending in-person events.

All staff and volunteers will be asked to wear masks and will be frequently washing hands.
In addition:

  • Doors, seats and shared surfaces will be wiped/cleaned after use.
  • All venues’ HVAC systems meet current Cal/OSHA and EPA standards, based on our checks.
  • We are requesting out-of-town filmmakers and guests take a rapid antigen test upon arrival.
  • Social distancing will be maintained during Q&As and on Red Carpets

The SLO County Health Department is now offering free rapid antigen tests (results can take up to 30 minutes) followed by a PCR test. View our Community Testing Sites. SLO County is now 67.3% fully vaccinated and experiencing low case counts. You can check up-to-date statistics here.

Please note these policies are subject to change.

Cuesta College still has a verification checkpoint in place, so all screenings at the CPAC require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test (within 72 hrs of the event) plus a valid photo ID. Masks are optional but available, and all updated info can be found on the CPAC Safety page.
