Skye McLennan
Skye McLennan grew up in Templeton, CA and went on receive her degree in Cinema from San Francisco State University. She also studied TV Documentary in Denmark at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.  A dual citizen of Australia and the United States, after college she moved to Sydney, Australia and worked extensively in film production design on short films, features, advertisements, music videos and documentaries.
She became involved in film festivals in high school. Over the next ten years she went on to work in major film festivals including the Sydney, Sundance, Tribeca and San Francisco International Film Festivals.  Since moving back to SLO County, she has been involved in the wine industry in both marketing and winemaking. She brings extensive marketing, programming and operational experience to the SLO Film Festival and looks forward to helping the festival continue to grow and flourish.
Wendy Eidson
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Wendy got her first job at 14 as a production assistant on a television series, and that was it . . . she was hooked. After graduation from college and a short stint at art school, she began working full-time as an assistant director, working on many film and TV productions, including A CHRISTMAS STORY, SUSPECT, A NEW LIFE, ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS and many more. In 1989, Wendy and husband, Tim, moved to San Luis Obispo to start a family and a mail-order food business called Mo Hotta – Mo Betta. They successfully grew the business, selling it in 2000. They also successfully grew the children – Jonathan and Hanna. From 2001-2004, Wendy was the Executive Director of the SLO Little Theatre (now SLO Rep), and a year later became the Artistic Director of the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival. In 2007, she became the festival’s full-time director and has helped developed the festival into a highly-regarded regional cultural event. After 15 years as Festival Director she moves onto the role of Artistic Director focusing on ongoing programming and development for our next festival.
