Aravind is eager to begin the process of transitioning from male to female. Amidst financial hardship and not knowing that Aravind is already taking hormone treatment, an arranged marriage is forced upon them. Gaining courage under pressure, Aravind begins to live life as a woman, Bhanu. When her workplace fails to acknowledge her as such, Bhanu struggles to find happiness until she meets a student being bullied for his feminine demeanor.
